The next time you are around people who are measuring a floor, jump back and forth over the measuring tape as if it were a jump rope. I did this at the gym the other day. I was up for a quick game of jump rope. And for some reason no one else wanted to join me, so I got to play longer than usual.

Charlie, this is very irresponsible. If you were to land on the tape you would create a ‘kink’. This might lead to roofs not fitting, doors too narrow, and lots of hassle winding up the tape. It’s bad enough cleaning the mud off the tape…..come on Charlie

Excellent points. But I no longer teach health and safety. So I’m good with it. Get the paper tape measures from ikea maybe. Is that better?

Lol. I meant paper ones on the inside of buildings. Unless you guys don’t wipe up the wet u drag in from outside.
