Charlie Two speaking again!
I live in the North-West corner of dysfunction junction in medium sized town suburbia. I have lived here my entire life. We are a town that by the time 25 years goes by you know everyone by association… unless of course you make a concerted effort to stay away from people or just try and hide from life in general. If you do the latter I’m here telling you that if you go out and look for life you will find it and plenty of extras (wanted or not). If you choose to hide, life will come looking for you!
Let this be an inspiration if not a warning for those who have not yet found a place in this world.
If you are real fast and smart, hard working and talented, life does not owe you a thing. Your life can only hold as much value as you attribute to it. You may choose your path and the good news is you must make a choice everyday. You can keep choosing the same thing everyday and over time your results will accrue and you will have the sum of your life divided by your number of consecutive choices equal to who you are or what you are worth to yourself.
Be bold and make a new choice everyday or even be ambitious and make several choices with your life on a daily basis and I can guarantee that the accrued interest you have in your own life will one day be immeasurable. No value can be set. There is no baseline for what a good person is. There is no standard for being a good friend, a good sibling, a good son or daughter. There is only self worth and if that is your intended business then you will know no bounds.
Be the oddball and let others build their box around you. Not all of us can be round. Some people need to be on the straight and narrow so they can accurately attribute a value to daily life. It has always been the round people, like it or not, which makes this whole thing work. We need each other and there is no need to be ashamed of who you are.
The odd man out doesn’t lose the game… They get to start a new one and play by their own rules!
