Foxes Have Places to go, People to see…

Driving along, we slammed on the breaks. A fox was running across the street. It ran up a snow bank at the train station. I guess the busses were running too slow. That sly fox must have given someone quite the slip (on ice) taking public transit like that. No one would think to look on a train. A metro tunnel maybe.

Lesson? Hide in plain sight. No one will believe their eyes and stay off the trains for a bit. In addition to the regular crowd, the former inhabitants of the city seem to be making a comeback in a big public way. The newer foxes must have pockets for their train passes. Evolution and all.

Off the Wagon

Eric had just moved into his own apartment. While he was waiting for the elevator to arrive upstairs to go to work one day, his neighbor came to the elevator and warmly welcomed him to the building. She went on and on about how nice everyone was. He thanked her profusely and thought how lucky he was to have such good neighbors. When the elevator arrived, little did they both know they were about to start the day and the relationship the wrong way. Indeed, the back way.

When she turned her back to him in the elevator, her skirt was tucked into her pantyhose and her granny underwear was showing.

Lesson? Be friendly to your neighbors but please not too “showy” with your welcome wagon… or caboose. Please!
