Marco Polo

Was shopping and I was tired! Couldn’t keep up with my sister anymore then I lost her. I decided to play that Marco Polo game where you yell out Marco and the person hiding yells polo and you try to find them by trying to follow the sound of their voice. So I yelled “Marco!”

An older lady yelled back “Polo” real loud and laughed her head off!! She popped out of one of the aisles and said “sorry, I couldn’t resist! I haven’t played in years.” Did I throw you off track?

I said “lady, everything throws me off track. At least I had someone to play with while shopping”.

Eventually I found my sister. Apparently she only responds when her own name is yelled or to a specific whistle my dad made us learn for safety reasons. He said he didn’t want strangers knowing our names, so instead we were called with the use of degrading dog whistles. He also called all 4 of us Charlie so he would never feel humiliated yelling out all serious commands to us and feeling foolish using the wrong name by accident. So we were all Charlie and so have our pets been ever since.

Lesson: play Marco Polo at the mall. But when real kids named Marco want to know why they are being called, see if they mind going out to get a pizza. It’s worth a shot…

Old Man: Look at my Life

Older man at medical clinic bumped his nose lightly on sneeze guard that is in front of the receptionist. He laughed and said ” did u see what I just did there?” What he said keeps making me laugh, even when no one is around.

“When you do something ridiculous, always point it out to others and laugh hardest at yourself.”

Let us know your most embarrassing, ridiculous moments.
