Snails Pace

Pet snail is making a run for it. Good thing I’m way ahead of him.

Up the side of the bowl. Used the ceramic turtle for leverage. After that, I’d only be guessing how he plans to get out.

Days later the fish died. I guess the snail was trying to get out to warn us.

Lesson?  Maybe if he had moved a little faster….things would have ended up different for the fish. Now we’ll never know.

Try going at a snails’ pace today. Count the number of people you can annoy within an hour. Compare with friends. Let us know the totals. We like interactive blogs. 😉

I Can’t Talk Now

Ray was walking with his teenage daughter back to his car. In a panic, he begged her to start looking in and out of the car for his phone. Just then a phone rang. He answered and anxiously said to his wife “I can’t talk now! I lost my phone!!”

 His daughter, not having even lifted a finger to help look for the phone, said dryly “you mean your cell phone? The one you just answered and are talking on?”

Lesson? Don’t worry so quickly! Take an extra second and let the people who you trust and who care about you help out once in a while.
