Whistle while u work

I got a whistle! Not that kind. I gave up on that profession. Ethics and all. A soccer coach’s one!

Love it too much. I recommend getting one. Use it in the house. Yell foul play or hand ball when husband gets too touchy feeling on headache day. Or when you are in the mood and need to get his attention. Oh there are millions of uses I can think of. Just get one. Two points if you do and then blow your own horn.

Stay true to who you are

Hailey (6) said she was too embarrassed to raise her hand when the teacher asked who likes Justin Bieber. I took the opportunity as a teachable moment and said “never be embarrassed to let others know what you like and don’t like. That’s what makes up who you are.”

She replied “I know who I am. I am the kind of person who doesn’t like raising their hand and letting others know I love Justin Bieber”.

Polly’s in Trouble!

When someone needs May’s help, she sings this song from the cartoon underdog

“When Polly’s in trouble, I dare not slow, it’s hip hip hip and away I go!”

It’s funnier because she then takes off super slow with her cane.

Lesson? We can all help each other, no matter what is going wrong in our own life. It’s even more fun when singing a theme song!
